Grace is a Consultant Midwife in Normality and Public Health. Her motivation stems from a desire to help women to feel empowered by a positive pregnancy and birth experience and to inspire midwives, as part of a multi-agency team, to deliver a respectful, caring and safe service. She is currently seconded as Associate Lecturer to University of Glamorgan for two days a week where the integration of public health into midwifery practice is her focus. Grace’s research interests include Fathers, Perinatal Mental Health, Medicines Administration & preparation of students and the latent phase of labour. She has recently been a member of the Midwifery 2020 work stream and have presented widely across the UK and internationally.
