John Stubley
PSN Programme Director, Cabinet Office
John Stubley has worked in ICT for over 30 years since starting as programmer (PL/I, Cobol and Assembler) on leaving school in 1976 and is now Programme Director for the Public Sector Network (PSN). On joining the Cabinet in 2001 John worked within the high classification arena heading up the technical and security components of an information sharing Programme. Prior to this he worked in a variety of roles in the private sector, including significant time in the USA and Saudi Arabia, culminating in a long spell as a consultant to the MOD on Army administrative infrastructures (UNICOM, CASH and AII – forerunners of DII). John has recently completed an Open University degree in History, lives on the Surrey/Hampshire border with his wife and two dogs and his hobbies are walking and scuba diving.
