Ann Millington took the helm at Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) in February 2011 – the latest achievement in a varied career. Since joining the service as Director of Human Resources in 2007, Ann has led a far-reaching change programme affecting all parts of the organisation, from administration
to emergency response. Ann’s background in organisational development, and the expertise of the leadership team around her, has been the basis of the successful implementation of the programme. Having graduated in Philosophy and Psychology, she has worked extensively in the public and private sectors. She joined KFRS from the London Borough of Bexley.
