Alison is Director of the National Association of Student Employment Services (NASES) where she is responsible for running the membership organisation and developing the student employment sector within HE and FE sector.

After graduating with a Hospitality Management Degree, Alison worked for the Walt Disney organisation in Florida and Paris before joining HCIMA (Hotel and Catering International Management Association) as a Membership Development Executive. Alison then spent eighteen months working as a Business Development Manager at a high street recruitment agency before joining the University of Central Lancashire to set up and manage The Bridge Student Employment Service, a joint university/ students union initiative to help student find part time, temporary and vacation employment.

Alison has a CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing and an MBA
