MD Audit Practice, Audit Commission.

Gareth Davies is the Managing Director of the Audit Commission’s in-house Audit Practice. He has spent his career in public audit, including appointments as external auditor to several large local authorities and NHS organisations. He has held other senior posts at the Commission, including Regional Director for the north of England and Managing Director for Local Government and Housing. Gareth is a CIPFA member, and is also a trustee and Honorary Treasurer of Oxfam GB, where he chairs the Audit Committee.
