Alun Milford

Alun Milford is Head of the Organised Crime Division in the CPS. Organised Crime Division prosecutes all cases investigated by SOCA as well as cases arising from investigations conducted at the border by UKBA. The Division also includes the CPS’ Proceeds of Crime Unit.
Alun is a solicitor advocate, who first joined the CPS in 1992 as a prosecutor in central London. There he dealt with the full range of criminal casework, including cases investigated by the Metropolitan Police’s Organised Crime Group. Alun moved to the Attorney General’s Office in 2004 as part of the criminal law team. He joined Revenue and Customs Prosecutions Office in January 2007, where he headed the newly-formed Asset Forfeiture Division. On the CPS’ merger with RCPO, he took over as head of the Proceeds of Crime Unit before moving to his present post in December 2009.
