Sir Stuart Lipton
Sir Stuart Lipton has been a commercial developer since late 1960s and is responsible for over 20 million sq/ft of development in over 50 projects including Broadgate, Stockley Park, Chiswick Park and the Treasury.
Sir Stuart is Deputy Chairman of Chelsfield Partners LLP and was the founding Chairman of the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment. He has recently formed the Major Developers Group, a working group assisting government on planning reform.
He has a particular interest in the quality of design of new buildings and public space and their impact on how people feel and behave. He has championed the use of high quality architects, demonstrating that every project should be of civic value.
