Ilze has been working for the University of Nottingham since 2008. During her time, she has managed projects in a variety of areas, including international recruitment, finance, community engagement and now – careers and employability.

As the Unitemps Nottingham Manager, Ilze looks after a service that provides work opportunities for students (and graduates). Unitemps Nottingham is an agency style service and helps hundreds of students find casual work on campus and with local companies. It is based within the Careers and Employability Service thus highlighting the value of casual work for employability.

Having set up Unitemps Nottingham, she has seen it develop into a highly recognised service at the University of Nottingham. Colleagues value the quality of staff who fill their temporary vacancies and students value the opportunity to find work that fits around their study commitments.
