Gillian Merron
Gillian Merron is Chair of Bus Users UK, a consumer voice working for better bus services and speaking up for millions of bus users across the country. She is also a strategic policy advisor and freelance writer for the health and transport sectors, and actively supports Centrepoint, the charity for young homeless people.
Gillian is well known as a highly engaged former Transport Minister for bus and coach services, and remains motivated by the belief that ‘it’s all about people’.
Gillian was MP for Lincoln and has extensive experience across Government, having also served as a Minister in the Cabinet Office, Department for International Development, Foreign Office and as Minister of State for Public Health.
