Sharon Kemp is the Assistant Chief Executive for People at Manchester City Council and has been with Manchester City Council since September 2009. She has worked within the public sector for more than 20 years across community safety; neighbourhood management; community cohesion, performance and partnerships.

Starting her career within the Greater Manchester Police Force and moving into local government with the advent of the Crime and Disorder Act, Sharon has worked within local government within the North West and London.
