Amanda is a student midwife about to embark on her third year of training, based at the University of East Anglia. She has been interested in the SMWG for some time, she is delighted to be a member of the group.

Her first meeting with the group was exciting, exhilarating and she left the RCM feeling so proud to be with colleagues who are so passionate and committed to midwifery and to the quality of care to mothers and babies. Student midwives face many challenges and I value the RCM’s commitment in listening to student voices.
