Paul Meadows
After working in several roles within the private sector, Paul started work in the public sector in 2003 primarily as a systems analyst within the parking enforcement team at Northampton Borough Council. When Northamptonshire County Council took over the parking enforcement, Paul transferred to the Transport and Highways team. From this role he progressed into information management and procurement of the parking enforcement software where he developed an interest in project management.
Paul was then seconded into a corporate business transformation team, where he was able to learn further project and change management skills whilst working on such projects as Education Transport. His secondment in the team was briefly followed by a short period in the school information team where he worked on such projects as the school census and information gateways.
Since taking on the role of contracts manager in 2009, Paul has been able to use the skills that he has developed to improve the quality and efficiency of contract procuring and management at Northamptonshire County Council.
