Speaker Biography

Jenifer Littman MBE

 Jenifer Littman MBE
Jenny has filled the role of chief executive for Tourism for All UK since 2004. At this time the charity changed its name from Holiday Care following merger with the Tourism for All Consortium which she was running at the time. Her passion is enabling people to enjoy life, as a firm believer in the social, economic, health and even spiritual benefits of ’time off’ - especially time in nature and time spent experiencing new places and people.

People with disabilities are often held back from such opportunities from lack of confidence in finding the right facilities, and Jenny’s commitment through TFA is to ensure that the progress being made in this field is maintained. It is also about giving a positive message to industry that the pound in the disabled person’s pocket is as good as anyone else’s, and that this is one of the largest untapped markets left for tourism.

Her skills in working with people in a voluntary organisation were developed in her previous roles, at Amnesty International, and subsequently as Director of the Family Holiday Association, an organisation which grew during her tenure from a turnover of £300k to over £1m per annum. Whilst there, as well as working closely with the travel industry, she established a project concerned with supportive breaks for families in distress called Wishing Tree holidays which she still chairs..
