Jason Freezer has been Head of Destination Management for VisitEngland since March 2011.

Since joining the national tourist board in October 2005 his responsibilities have included work on the quality agenda, business development and sustainable tourism.

Jason is the organisation’s champion for sustainable tourism having managed developments in this area for more than five years. His achievements include developing the current “Wise Growth” action plan and developing and launching Green Start, Keep it Real and a variety of other tools that can support business to embed sustainable principles and realise its benefits.

Jason’s career prior to joining VisitEngland features experiences in the hospitality industry, having run hotels and restaurants for over 12 years in England.
