Cllr Flick Rea
Cllr Flick Rea was a member of the LGA’s CTS Board 2009-11 and appointed Chair in March 2012.
She was previously Executive Member for Culture, London Borough of Camden from 2006-2010 (now Shadow Culture cabinet member) and has been a Liberal Democrat Councillor in Camden since 1986.
Flick is a member of the Arts Council London Regional Board and was formerly Vice-Chair of London Councils Arts, Tourism and 2012
Forum from 2008-10.
Trained originally in the theatre, Flick for some years was a Council Observer to the Board of Hampstead Theatre and a Trustee
of the Camden Arts Centre. She is now Vice- Chair of Trustees of The Charles Dickens Museum.
At Camden she was responsible for the successful £25 million reopening of the iconic Kentish Town Baths, and for rescuing
a sports centre and football grounds from closure.
