Doreen Alusa is Lecturer, International Relations, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, United States International University (USIU), Nairobi, Kenya.

Her research interests are in the fields of education effectiveness, development, peace and conflict. She is a resource person for the State University of New York parliamentary strengthening program in Kenya and is in the steering committee of the UK government-funded Development Partnership in Higher Education project at USIU.

She also serves as the School of Humanities and Social Sciences representative at the Quality Assurance Office as well as the faculty Council’s Academic and Research Committee at USIU.
