Matthias Kuder is co-author of the recent international survey report 'Joint and Double Degree Programs in the Global Context' (2011), and co-editor of the book 'Joint and Double Degree Programs: An Emerging Trend for Transatlantic Exchange' (2010).

He works with the Centre for International Co-operation at Free University, Berlin (FUB), a unit focusing on strategic internationalisation. His tasks include the development of strategic partnerships with universities abroad and he heads FUB’s global liaison office network, with representations in New York, Brussels, Moscow, Sao Paulo, Beijing, New Delhi and Cairo.

Before joining Free University, Kuder worked as consultant with Lemmens Media specialising in services for higher education institutions and served with the Science and Technology Section of the Canadian Embassy in Berlin.
