Michael Stevenson
Michael Stevenson is Vice-President of Global Education at Cisco Systems.
He is responsible for developing education strategy and leading implementation in countries across the world. Michael came to Cisco from government, where he was CIO and Director of Technology at the Department for Education and Skills in England, driving the use of information and communication technology in schools, colleges and universities.
Before that he was DFES Director of Strategy. Until joining government Michael worked at the BBC. A graduate trainee, he was the founding editor of the flagship political TV program 'On the Record'.
He went on to become BBC Secretary, Director of Education and Director of Factual and Learning.
