Maggie Walsh
Maggie worked for thirty years as an employment specialist across DWP and MOJ. Faced with returning to a mainstream role she left last year to join a new Social Firm, A Fairer Chance, to continue this work.
A Fairer Chance is an employer facing organisation that aims to "identify and influence skills delivered in custody and the community, and translate into paid work".
Maggie guides enlightened employers through the criminal justice system and helps them make informed decisions regarding the employment of both serving prisoners and those under supervision. She works mainly in London and the South East and has a particular interest in womens' employment.
