The Skills Funding Agency is a partner organisation of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. Its job is to fund and regulate Adult Further Education and Skills Training in England.

Keith Smith is currently Director of Funding Policy leading the agency’s funding policy and systems, to ensure the governments ambitions are underpinned by a responsive funding and performance management system.

During his career Keith has worked for both the private and public sector undertaking a variety of roles and is currently focusing on the creation of a new simplified funding system that enables the sector to respond fully to learners and employers.
