Rowenna Davis is a journalist specialising in political and social affairs for the Guardian and the New Statesman as well as being published in the Financial Times, the Independent, the Economist and the Times.

A regular commentator for Sky News, BBC TV and radio, she is also the author of the new book on Blue Labour, "Tangled Up in Blue".

She was elected to serve as a Labour councillor for the Lane ward in Southwark in 2011. She has a keen interest in community organising, working with the youth charities Headliners and Envision, volunteering for Crisis and serving as a trustee for Blackfriars Settlement.
