Luke James represents taught postgraduate students on the NUS national executive council. He has formerly served as president and education officer at Swansea University Students' Union. Earlier this year he represented NUS on a two-week European Students' Union exchange on the future of student support. Luke, 23, is originally from Cardiff, in Wales, and works as a newspaper reporter as well as studying.
