Tracy Williams
Tracy has a nursing career spanning over twenty years, having trained in Norwich and qualifying as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), Registered Sick Children’s Nurse (RSCN) and Registered Midwife (RM).
Having worked in local hospital and community settings Tracy moved into Primary Care as practice nurse in 1995 where she completed her Advanced Nurse Practitioner degree. Tracy was instrumental in setting up City Reach health services in 2002 as a PMS for Marginalised and Vulnerable Groups and became Lead Nurse in 2008.
Tracy’s particular areas of service development are outreach clinics in the red-light district of Norwich providing contraceptive and sexual health service for sex workers and an outreach service to Gypsy and Traveller sites both local authority and encampments.
Tracy was awarded the title of “Queens Nurse “in 2012 which recognises commitment to improving standards of care for patients in local communities and to learning and leadership.
For the past eighteen months Tracy has been an elected Executive Board Member on the Norwich Clinical Commissioning Group (NCCG) where she is able to ensure the profile of health inequalities and health inclusion is on the agenda of the new commissioning organisations.
