Susan Patrick
Susan Patrick is a Principal Lecturer for the Postgraduate and Professional Portfolio. She has a passion for Lifelong learning and currently holds responsibility for a portfolio of courses which focus on provision for the lifelong learner, including staff development opportunities.
The majority of her teaching and course responsibility is within the adult learner/non-traditional student group and therefore she has a strong understanding of the challenges, demands and challenges of a diverse group of learners.
She led an HEA funded project for the faculty through the Discipline Focused Learning Technology Enhancement Academy in 2009-10, entitled 'Working with e-champions to enhance flexible learning' and recent research activity and output focuses on the non-traditional student experience and alternative learning teaching methods such as the application of blended learning for learners.
