Professor Abu Bakar is professor of civil engineering at UiTM and of water resources engineering at the University of Stuttgart. An expert in flood control, hydrology and environmental engineering, he was educated in Malaysia, the US, the UK and Germany. He is a fellow of Malaysia’s Institution of Engineers.
