Dr Andrew Lephard
Andy qualified from the University of Leeds Medical School in 2000 and completed his GP training in 2004 in Bradford. He spent 2 years working in a rural hospital in Cameroon, West Africa before returning to work in inner city Bradford in early 2007. He completed a Masters degree in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2014.
Andy has worked since 2007 at Bevan House, a General Practice providing care to homeless patients, asylum seekers, refugees and other vulnerable groups. In 2011 he helped start up Bevan Healthcare Community Interest company, a social enterprise which provides intensive primary care at Bevan House as well a range of new services including street medicine, Bradford Bevan Pathway hospital in-reach and clinical care for the BRICSS intermediate care facility. Since October 2014 Andy has undertaken the role of Medical Director at Bevan Healthcare.
