Prior to his current role, Professor Aryeetey was a senior fellow and director of the Africa Growth Initiative at the Brookings Institution, Washington DC. He has also served as director of the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research, University of Ghana. His research focuses on the economics of development.
