Anton Muscatelli took up his current role in 2009, having previously been principal and vice-chancellor of Heriot-Watt University. As an economist, his experience includes three years as a special adviser to the House of Commons Treasury Select Committee. He has also acted as a consultant to the European Commission and the World Bank.
