Alongside his current administrative role, Raul Machado Neto is a full professor of animal science at the University of São Paulo. Previous positions have included president of the university’s undergraduate research programme, associate provost for research, vice-dean of the College of Agriculture and vice-president for international cooperation. His research focuses on passive immunity in domestic animals.
