Sami Benyahia is Director of Higher Education (HE) Research at Ipsos MORI. He specialises in Higher Education survey research and is the project director for the National Student Survey (NSS) which he was involved in setting up in 2004 and has responsibility for the delivery of the survey from inception to date.

He has been involved in student research for several years. In particular, Sami has a keen interest in researching students with a focus on the academic experience and HE public information. He is a regular speaker at Higher Education events and is well known in the sector for his involvement with the NSS and, with HEFCE, contributing to making the survey a feature in the UK HE landscape.

Prior to joining Ipsos, Sami was a lecturer in France where he also studied at a Paris Business School and at the Sorbonne University.
