As Educational Researcher and Developer for Artswork, Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning in the creative industries, at Bath Spa University, Antonia has developed two major projects, 'Learning in the Arts', a longitudinal research project looking at creative students' perceptions and experiences of undergraduate arts education (2006-9) and '10by10', an inquiry using practice-based techniques and visual research to explore the relationship between teaching and practice and the experience and role of teacher-practitioners within higher arts education.

Antonia has been a researcher for over five years, predominantly in arts education, with a background in design.
