Sian Thomas is currently Chief Executive of Synuron which is a social enterprise, employee owned, membership organisation delivering innovative HR solutions to health and social care organisations, including GP’s . Following a career on NHS Boards, Sian has developed her role in running membership organisations for five years at a national level and held the post of Director of NHS Employers until April 2010 .

Synuron is a new social enterprise venture for her and her role now combines workforce, technology, HR innovation, public sector value, membership and entrepreneurship. Having been HR Director of the year and in the NHS Top 100 Leaders, she contributes to Personnel Today’s editorial, including the new economic “Austerity“ panel and being a judge for technology, social media and innovation awards. Sian is also contributing to national work on innovation, entrepreneurship and the concept of membership with the RSA as well as mentoring new entrepreneurs.
