Rionne Williams
Rionne Williams is MCC’s Creative Apprentice, working with the Cultural Strategy Team and studying for a National Award in Community Arts Management.
Rionne is developing a number of key projects with communities, including a new music rehearsal space for north Manchester commissioned by DCMS. Working with a number of partners, this facility will allow more young people to explore their own creativity with suitable industry support and expertise. As facilitator for the initiative Rionne must forge new links and partnerships and plays a central role in making this a success before and after its launch in October.
With qualifications in English and Drama, and a passion for all things creative, Rionne has demonstrated strengths in all aspects of arts development. She brings an understanding of Manchester and its communities, and a commitment to put in place a range of provision that supports the rising aspirations of young people in particular.
