Lindsay Neil joined the University of Westminster in 1984. She worked in a number of different posts across schools within the University dealing with student administration from admissions to graduation.

In 1998, she moved to a central post dealing with admissions and particularly with processes associated with UCAS applications. This post has developed over the years to cover Student Funding and has encompassed piloting the introduction of UKPASS and also overseeing the issuing of visas and monitoring of students under the new UKBA requirements. Under a restructuring, all staff in admissions offices in the University now report centrally and Lindsay is now Head of Admissions and Student Funding.
