Dr Tom Coffey OBE
Tom Coffey is one of two Associate Medical Directors for Primary Care at NHS London, working mainly on improving clinical commissioning and the performance of primary care services in the capital.
After graduating from Charing Cross and Westminster medical school in 1988, Tom initially, worked in a number of hospitals in the UK and Australia and after five years decided to train as a GP. Tom has been working as a GP in Wandsworth since 1994 and is a Partner at Brocklebank Group Practice. Tom still works in accident and emergency at Charing Cross Hospital and has been PEC chair at Wandsworth PCT since 2002. He also chaired the New Health Network, a policy think tank for clinicians and managers, until 2011.
