Kosta Manis is a senior partner at Bexley Medical Group, which is a practice situated in the north of the London Borough of Bexley. The practice serves 15,500 patients, and is based in an ethnically diverse area, which suffers multiple deprivation and has high disease prevalence.

Kosta has been a GP in Bexley since 1981, and from 2007 has been the Care Trust’s lead on both PbC and cardiology. Kosta led a team that provided GP surgeries full cardiology non-invasive diagnostics, community cardiology clinics, heart failure nurse clinics and more recently Bexley’s Primary Care Chest Pain Clinic. The service has previously won two national awards and recently won a prestigious National Association of Primary Care ‘Vision’ award.

His practice is also a leader in diabetes with his partner, Dr Simona Malone, being instrumental in developing the renowned Bexley diabetes service. The practice is an "Insulin Start" practice for type II diabetics.
